L'Nee

 By L'Nee

I am hoping that you will discuss my book in your book club meetings over a cinnamon dolce latte, hot of course. Better yet Starbucks is now making Skinny Latte’s get one of those and sip it slowly.  I am hoping that you will snuggle up with some hot chocolate by the fireplace when the kids are asleep and laugh your heart away.  I want you to know that you are not alone in your situation.  I want you to know that for every mistake made if you learned something it was worth the journey.  I want you to have no regrets and to love your life for what it is.  You see, I don’t have everything I could hope for but I am happy for what I do have.  I am sitting in my townhouse with my mother downstairs and my son in the next room and thanking God for them by the minute.  You see it is not what life hands you that makes the difference; it is what you do with your life that makes the difference.  Would you believe my son just came in to hug me and ask me if I needed anything?  Now service like that is love.  My son adores me and I adore him too!

Why Faking the Funk?

In my thirty-five years of talking to people, I learned one important thing.  Numerous people are living in unhealthy relationships.  Coming from divorced parents, I have a zero tolerance for bull...  I am glad I am that way; however, there are times when you need to stick it out.  Nevertheless, it hurts me to see so many people wasting precious time on a relationship that appears to be going nowhere.  I figured there must be a solution to let people know that you can be happy in your current relationship or perhaps you need to be in a relationship with someone else or alone.

You need not waste another minute Faking the Funk.  By talking to people, I found out that lots of them were Faking the Funk for many different reasons.  The bottom line is most people decided to settle.  I am speaking from experience: I myself Faked the Funk in two relationships Back 2 back.  My intentions were not to do that but eventually I did.  I want to give the world some real talk that a lot of us are afraid to say.  I want to invite my readers into my life and my characters’ lives hoping that you’ll recognize something in your own experience that you can relate to.  I want to offer a solution to every problem someone may be having.  I want to guarantee that whoever reads this book will put their life into perspective and never

Fake the Funk.

Future Plans

L’NEE’s second book “Silly” is due to release April 2011.  I thought this, but now I know that, therefore I am "Silly" no more...This is a must read for anyone that is currently in the dating scene. If you are ready to look at YOU versus them you must read "Silly".  L'NEE will share some parables that will definitely help you date smarter.  After reading "Silly" you will avoid pitfalls from the past but use YOU as the immediate object for change.

L’NEE’s “Faking The Funk 2” is due to release August 2011.  Read updates on your favorite characters and meet the new couples that join the line up.
